Sustainable hotel in South Tyrol

Are you traveling in an environmentally friendly way? We support you! Bressanone and Bolzano are very well connected and easily accessible by train. The entire house is cleaned exclusively with steam and without additional chemicals. Steam kills 100% bacteria and germs and at the same time protects surfaces and materials and, above all, the environment.

When furnishing the house, attention was paid to natural materials and consciously chosen local raw materials from regional craft companies.

When purchasing, in addition to quality, particular emphasis is placed on regionality and seasonality. Collaboration with partners from the immediate area is focused; the credo is small over big.

The water from the tap comes directly from the Alpine pasture and is drinking water of the highest quality. We want to protect this valuable asset. We invite you to enjoy these and avoid plastic bottles.

Our taps have water-saving fittings. These add air to the water, give the water jet a pleasant volume, make it softer and reduce water consumption by 40%.

In 2000, the Hans and Paula Steger Foundation was founded, to which the Hotel Steger-Dellai also belongs. Together we support charitable projects and nature conservation on the Seiser Alm.

We attach great importance to our waste management, especially waste separation and waste avoidance. There is no use of single-use items throughout the house; the bathrooms are equipped with “zero waste” cosmetics from Team Dr. Joseph from South Tyrol, bathing slippers are only available upon request.

The LED lighting throughout the house helps us to reduce electricity consumption, the electricity we need is 100% green electricity from renewable energy sources and partly from our own combined heat and power plant. The combined heat and power plant also supplies heat for heating and hot water preparation.
